Managed Consultative Service (MCS)

One of the advantages of an MCS solution is that the upfront expenditure is significantly less in the first two years as low cost regular instalments are made on a quarterly basis. The MCS solution also utilises a revenue budget which is often more flexible than a capital budget, yet all the benefits are upfront within the first month of installation. In addition, the MCS revenue spend typically attracts more advantageous tax relief.

In addition to product supply, we offer market leading ‘Adept’ consultancy and network troubleshooting, in order to ensure the highest levels of support.


At IMS we offer a fully comprehensive 5* Support package including software revisions and hardware maintenance, either on a ‘return to base’ or ‘on-site’ agreement. Additionally we offer Hotline telephone support including unique remote problem resolution of client network problems, ongoing re-training within the Support contract and on-site call outs throughout the year from our ‘Adept’ technicians for resolution of network and application problems.


All system pre-installation and configuration provided by IMS is ‘client specific’. On-site training is geared to the client’s environment, incorporating effective knowledge in proactive troubleshooting techniques and systems management. This time can be used for either training or consultancy work, and is designed for up to six students per class.
